摘要： A system and method is provided for a station, mobile station or otherwise, in a MC- CDMA based WLAN, CDMA based, or other multichannel wireless system, to dynamically decide to transmit in parallel with current transmissions or to select another frequency channel in the communication system. An exemplary device is well suited for wireless systems based on CDMA using a MUD. The system and method provide a means for estimating the interference of signals on the same frequency channel as determined by the MUD. Individual stations in the system can decide, in a distributed manner, if they should divert their communication link to another frequency channel, or to continue on the same frequency channel in parallel to the current communication links.
