摘要： Techniques for selecting a runbook to recommend for remediating a detected event are disclosed. When a system detects an event, the system obtains metadata associated with the event. The metadata provides information about the event and a system topology of the system in which the event occurred. The system generates a recommendation for a runbook to remediate the event based on one or both of characteristics of the event and characteristics of the topology in which the event occurred. The system compares a system topology to system topologies associated with previously-executed runbooks. The system recommends one of the previously- executed runbooks to remediate a detected event based on determining that the topology associated with the previously-executed runbook is similar to the topology of the system in which the event occurred.

摘要： A request is received, from a mutator thread, to load a first reference to a first object from a heap memory onto a call stack of the application thread (902). Responsive to receiving the request, a system retrieves the first reference from the heap memory (904). The system executes a bitwise shift operation that (a) removes one or more bits representing the first garbage collection state and (b) generates a second reference from the first reference. Based on a particular bit, of the one or more bits removed from the first reference by the shift operation, the system determines whether to perform a set of garbage collection operations on the first reference to bring the first reference to a good state (908). The second reference, without any indication of any of the plurality of garbage collection states, is stored to the call stack (910).

摘要： Techniques for generating action recommendations for a data tape system based on a media drive calibration are disclosed. A system receives a request to perform an operation including an exchange between a data tape and a media drive. If the system determines that the operation is a data tape validation operation, the system determines whether the media drive is calibrated. If the calibration value of the media drive does not meet a threshold, the system performs a calibration procedure. The system may calibrate the media drive or replace the media drive with a calibrated media drive. The system performs the validation operation. Based on a validation result, a data tape quality value, and the media drive calibration value, the system generates a recommended action for a data tape.
