    • An activation assembly for a wellbore tool positionable in a wellbore includes a housing, a wellbore tool coupled to the housing, and a tool activator operatively coupled to the wellbore tool. The tool activator includes first and second fixedly connected circular disks, each of which includes a plurality of radially projecting teeth disposed around an outer circumferential surface of the disk. The disks are rotatably mounted about a longitudinal axis of the housing. The tool activator further includes a key member having a head portion engageable with the teeth of the first and second disks. The key member is located within the housing such that the disks rotate through a limited angular distance in response to movement of the key member.

    • Computer-implemented methods, computer-readable media, and computer systems for transmitting petroleum well data from a mobile drilling rig. A rig computer system at the mobile drilling rig receives a request for petroleum well data from a first real-time operations center (ROC) computer system at a ROC over a network. The rig computer system has previously transmitted the requested data to second ROC computer system over the network. The rig computer system determines that the first and second ROC computer systems are connected by a network of greater bandwidth than the network that connects the rig computer system and the first ROC computer system. The rig computer system responds to the first ROC computer system by re-directing the first ROC computer system to the second ROC computer system rather than by transmitting the petroleum well data to the first ROC computer system.

    • An alignment mechanism (100) is used for assembly of a diffuser (22) inside a pressure reducing and conditioning valve (20), said valve having a body (23), an inlet port (21), an outlet port (24), a pressure reducing section (40) between the ports, and a diffuser (30) in an internal cavity (42) of the pressure reducing section. The alignment mechanism (100) comprises at least one alignment assembly having an alignment port (110) disposed in the valve body (23) in the pressure reducing section (40). The port has a passageway (130) passing through an outer wall (123) of the valve, and has a removable closure member (150) adapted to close one end of the passageway. A removable alignment rod (170) is adapted to be inserted through the passageway (130) in the alignment port to contact an outer surface (31) of the diffuser (30) when the diffuser is inserted into the internal cavity (42) of the pressure reducing section (40) of the valve. A method of use (500) of the alignment assembly (100) is disclosed.
