摘要： An automatic card shuffler to shuffle eight decks of cards (or less) and deal a round of Baccarat. The automatic shuffler comprises two pre-shuffle bins, each receiving approximately four decks of cards wherein the pre-shuffle bins are spaced apart from one another with card slides directing to a card-receiving area. Cards are randomly selected from the cards in each of the pre-shuffle bins and propelled onto the card slides directing the cards to the card-receiving area. Once a sufficient number of buffer cards (e.g., seven) have been deposited into the card-receiving area, a card flipper moves the seven cards against a face plate of an integral dealing shoe. A buffer-holder member maintains the buffer cards against the face plate for dealing as the card flipper returns to a home position to receive more shuffled cards while buffer cards are being dealt in a round of Baccarat.

摘要： A card vault for attachment to an automatic card shuffling machine, card shoe, card verifying machine and card discard rack is disclosed. The card vault facilitates a system of reducing human handling of cards thereby reducing human error and cheating. Cards may be transferred in a card vault directly from the card verifying machine to an automatic card shuffling machine. After being dealt during one or more table games, the cards are placed in a discard rack and transferred to the card vault for transport to a card verifying machine where the deck is verified. The card vault and contained cards are tracked in substantially real-time using wireless technology such as a RFID transmitter and receiver.

摘要： A joist end cap overcoming the shortcomings of prior joist end caps is disclosed. A joist end cap having five walls, namely a top wall, bottom wall, pair of side walls and end wall, define a cavity for receipt of an end of a piece of lumber. The bottom wall is slanted to allow moisture to exit from the cavity. The top and bottom wall may be interchangeable, such that the top and bottom wall are both slanted and users may use the end cap in either orientation. Elongated ribs and projections along inner surfaces of the walls provide for air flow and run off of any undesired moisture. A unique connector guide and circular ring configuration ensure that connectors (e.g., nails, screws or rivets) used to connect the joist end cap to the lumber do not damage the joist end cap and/or create ingresses for moisture to enter the cavity.
