    • The present embodiments provide an endoluminal prosthesis, such as a stent-graft, having a relatively low delivery profile. In one embodiment, the prosthesis comprises a membrane, and at least one stent having contracted and expanded states, where the stent is coupled to the membrane and maintains patency in the expanded state. The prosthesis further may comprise selectively oriented axial and/or circumferential fibers arranged at predetermined locations along the length and circumference of the prosthesis. An increased population density of the circumferential and/or axial fibers may be provided in areas in which the at least one stent portion is attached to the membrane, or in areas of higher physiological loads imposed upon the endoluminal prosthesis. Selectively orienting axial fibers and circumferential fibers at predetermined locations along the length and circumference of the prosthesis, but not continuously along the entire prosthesis, significantly reduces delivery profile due to the reduction in graft material.

    • The present invention provides a bed sheet attachment system that allows a user to quickly and easily change bed sheets. In one embodiment, the fitted sheet (30) of a bed comprises an upper surface and at least one attachment member disposed on the upper surface. A quick-change sheet (70) having upper (72) and lower surfaces also is provided, wherein at least one attachment member is disposed on the lower surface of the quick-change sheet (70). In use, the attachment member of the quick-change sheet (70) is configured to releasably mate with the attachment member of the fitted sheet (30), thereby facilitating the changing of the quick-change sheet (70). Further, at least one pocket member (120, 140) may be releasably coupled to the fitted sheet(30), thereby providing one or more storage locations in close proximity to the bed.

    • The present embodiments provide apparatus and methods suitable for coupling a graft member to tissue, closing a bodily opening, and the like. In one embodiment, a tacking device comprises a wire having first and second ends, and further having delivery and deployed states. In the contracted state, the wire comprises an elongated configuration that is substantially parallel to a central longitudinal axis. In the expanded state, the wire comprises a head region and a body region, the head region comprising at least one full turn having a first diameter, and the body region comprising at least two full turns having a second diameter, wherein the first diameter is greater than the second diameter. One or more of the tacking devices may be delivered using a laparoscopic, endoscopic or percutaneous approach.
