    • Control of transitions between radio resource control, RRC, states for a wireless terminal in a radio access network is described. The radio resource control states comprise a first state and a second state. A calculation (702) is made of a prediction of an inter-arrival time, ITB, between data bursts to be handled. A detection (704) that a data burst is to be handled is done and then it is decided (706) whether to make a transition from the first state to the second state essentially immediately and upon termination of handling of the detected data burst if the prediction of the ITB is greater than a current ITB threshold. The current ITB threshold is a time interval that is depending on a function of RRC state transition costs and the fractional distribution of true predictions and false predictions of a plurality of predicted ITB values in relation to recorded ITB values. Then, in accordance with the decision, the wireless terminal is directed (708) either to remain in the first state or switch to the second state.

    • The present disclosure relates to a method, an arrangement and a computer program product for determining an end-of-life state of a battery. It is an object of the present invention to more reliably determine an end-of-life (EOL) state of a battery even when the load of the system to be powered by the battery varies. This object is achieved by a method for determining an end-of-life, EOL, state of a battery, the battery having an initial capacity C ini . During a discharge a first discharge voltage value U 1 (T 1 ) provided by the battery at a first point of time T 1 and a second discharge voltage value U 2 (T 2 ) provided by the battery at a second point of time T 2 are measured. A predicted backup time is computed based one the measured values of U 1 (T 1 ) and U 2 (T 2 ) and on the first and second point in time T 1 , T 2 . Furthermore, during the discharge a plurality of discharge current values at a plurality of points of time on or between the first point of time T 1 and the second point of time T 2 are measured an average discharge current, I average, is computed. An exected backup time T expected is then computed based on the initial capacity of the battery Cini and I average . The method further comprises the comparison of T expected and T predicted . If T expected ≤T predicted then the EOL state of the battery is determined.

    • It is presented a user equipment (20), UE, for assisting the initialization of a radio base station. The UE (20) comprises a reader (21) arranged to read an optical representation of data associated with the radio base station, a communication interface (22) arranged for wireless communication;a processor (23); and a memory (24) storing computer program comprising computer program code. When the computer program code is run in the processor (23), this causes the UE (20) to obtain a string of characters based on the read optical representation of data;generate an encryption key based on the obtained string of characters; and establish, via the communication interface (22), an encrypted wireless communication link with the radio base station using the generated encryption key; and communicate configuration data to the radio base station over the established encrypted wireless communication link. A corresponding radio base station is also presented. Furthermore, corresponding methods, computer programs and computer program products are disclosed.

    • It is presented a method for initialising a radio base station. The method comprises the steps, performed in the radio base station, of: obtaining location data for the radio base station; receiving a configuration message over a first communication link, the configuration message matching the location data for the radio base station and the configuration message comprising at least one connectivity parameter; and establishing, based on the at least one connectivity parameter, a connection with a core network over a second communication link, the second communication link being different from the first communication link. This means that the first communication link can be used to obtain connectivity using the configuration message intended for the radio base station with the matching location. A corresponding radio base station, computer program and computer program product are also presented.
