    • The specification discloses a cardboard and blister pack packaging and sealing machine (1 ) that includes an upper ( 15) and lower ( 16) heater and die combination that can be compressed together over a package for sealing using heat activated adhesives. The machine may use at least one piston and rod device or pump to provide the necessary energy or pressure. The machine may include a moveable tray containing at least one aperture (31 ) to hold an unsealed package wherein the unsealed package can be moved proximate to the upper and lower heaters and dies and the upper and lower heaters and dies can press together. In this way, both the top and bottom dies may be heated and the operator is not required to remove the sealed packaging from the hot die.

    • The disclosure pertains to a method of constructing structures and the resulting structures with SIP technology but with additional building components that create very strong buildings, including the ability to withstand high winds. The disclosure includes the option of constructing vertical concrete columns and horizontal concrete beams within the joined panel walls. This results in combining structural insulated panel technology with insulated concrete form technology. The disclosure also teaches use of compression fasteners that extend through both layers of the panel skin to achieve a mechanical attachment of the panel skins and not relying totally on the adhesive bond found on the typical SIP thus creating a "true" box beam effect of the panel itself. The fasteners have large chambered heads. These fasteners can be used at the junction of abutting panels. The panels are block lap cut and the fastener extends through both block extensions.

    • A long cylinder shaped beam is submerged in the ocean and suspended horizontally by multiple floats for converting ocean wave energy. The long length (at least the distance of the crest of two waves) and heavy weight of the beam, give the floats something stable to pull against. The weight of the beam pulling at the floats is transferred back and forth, as the ocean swells move over the beam, which activate machine components that may be installed in the beam, the floats or with rods connecting the floats to the beam. An individual float will not lift the beam except when the tide raises all the floats. The floats will pull and release the tension of the weight of the beam at randomly different times. The shape of the beam is straight. The ocean surface is continuously curving up and down and the beam will not bend to the shape of the ocean surface, but the floats will mimic the undulating or curvy shape of the ocean surface, and that motion actives the machine. The energy of the floats pulling against the elongated component is then turned into mechanical or hydraulic energy.
