摘要： Image quality is assessed for a digital image that is a composite of tiles or other image segments, especially focus accuracy for a microscopic pathology sample. An algorithm or combination of algorithms correlated to image quality is applied to pixel data at margins where adjacent image segments overlap and thus contain the same content in separately acquired images. The margins may be edges merged to join the image segments smoothly into a composite image, and typically occur on four sides of the image segments. The two versions of the same image content at each margin are processed by the quality algorithm, producing two assessment values. A sign and difference value are compared with other image segments, including by subsets selected for the orientation of the margins on sides on the image segments. The differences are mapped to displays. Selection criteria determine segments to be reacquired.

Client-specific read-write versions of selected files or directories are supported. All clients access the client-specific versions using the same name and address identifiers (for example, the same file name for a given configuration file), but each client has an exclusive version. A file ID distinguishes respective clients. These files are maintained alongside other files of other types and attributes. The selection of files to be client-specific can be predetermined, or a client-specific version of a file can be generated if the client executes a write operation to a client-specific file or area, the written data containing data read by the client in any of memory area available to the clients (RAM, Virtual Disk Drive, Hard Disk drive etc.). The technique supports customization while maximizing administrative control of operating system versions and minimizing redundant storage. 摘要： A networked data processor maintains a database of information concerning potential evidence from litigants in legal proceedings supporting stipulated discovery agreements, and requiring meet-and-confer sessions prior to seeking court supervision. Individual or adverse parties can participate. Sources include data custodians, file repositories, electronic data, witnesses, etc. Managers and employees are polled to populate a database defining the litigant's organization and evidence. The evidence may be sequestered, copied and processed, e.g., filtered for confidentiality or privilege, analyzed as to format, and queried to assess the volume of data that would be responsive under alternative discovery specifications. Cost and time are assessed under alternative specifications and reports are provided for use in negotiating a discovery plan. A stipulated discovery plan may result, or if not, a meet-and-confer session is electronically managed in a multi-user teleconference. A report of stipulated and disputed points and associated arguments can be presented to the court.

The passage has conductive walls at the reading zone associated with antennas for applying and collecting focused RF signals, and the walls define a vestibule lined with broadband or specific stopband electromagnetic damping structures as well as elongating signal paths into and/or out of the reading zone. Attenuation by one or more of broadband and stopband damping and signal path elongation can achieve 10 dB attenuation or more, sufficient to minimize interaction with stray RFID tagged articles that may be outside of the group in the reading zone.

Tension cables threaded through segments along a circuit can cinch segments together for stiffening the supporting layer and/or the cable can pull the implant against a bone surface.
