    • Trata-se a presente invenção de um sistema de iluminação de ambiente (5) para aparelho condicionador de ar compreendendo um microcontrolador (10), um sensor (10) e um receptor (20) conectados ao referido microcontrolador (30), recebendo sinais do ambiente e do usuário, respectivamente, e transmitindo sinais correspondantes ao microcontrolador, o microcontrolador (30) recebe os sinais do sensor (10) e do receptor (20) e os envia a um gerador (60) que, com base nestes siniais, aciona um dispositivo emissor (40), sendo que a iluminação provida pelo emissor (40) corresponde a uma comparação do sinal proveniente do sensor (10) e do sinal proveniente do receptor (20). O aparelho condicionador de ar possui ainda um painel frontal (70, 70'; 70'') possuindo bordas (75'; 75''), sendo que o dispositivo emissor (40) pode ser posicionado atrás ou embutido no referido painel. Alternativamente, pode ser aplicado um anteparo (80) na frente do painel para dispersão da luz emitida pelo dispositivo emissor (40) para as bordas (75'; 75'') do painel frontal. A invenção prevê também um método de iluminação utilizando tal sistema.
