摘要： Methods and devices for exchanging data between a first device and a second device in a mobile telecommunications network. Methods disclosed herein include establishing a plurality of time-slots for uplink and downlink of data using a Time Division Duplex (TDD) operation on a frequency channel allocated for the TDD operation. A frequency bandwidth within the frequency channel is assigned to each of the plurality of time-slots. At least a first of the time-slots is assigned a first frequency bandwidth and at least a second of the time-slots is assigned a second frequency bandwidth, the first frequency bandwidth being less than the second frequency bandwidth. Data is exchanged between the first device and the second device in the plurality of time-slots and using the frequency bandwidths assigned to each of the time-slots.

摘要： A mobile device management and security system is configured to control usage and security of managed mobile devices of a group of users registered to the system. The system comprises a security platform in a core of a cellular telecommunications network, and a mobile device management platform. The mobile device management platform is configured: to receive, for each user of the group of users, an indication of a Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number (MSISDN) for a subscription of each user of the group registered to the cellular telecommunications network and to associate the MSISDN with a respective userlD for the user; to store, for each user of the group of users, an administrator- configurable security policy set for each user, said security policy set including a secure web profile defining a security policy for data traffic to be sent to the respective user over the cellular telecommunications network; and to send to the security platform the MSISDN and data pertaining to the associated secure web profile for each user. 摘要： A cellular telecommunications network architecture is described where certain UEs are configured to assist the network to improve coverage in regions of poor radio conditions. In certain embodiments, appropriate UEs are selected to act as a dynamic, out-of-band coverage extensions. Network performance can thereby be improved when serving users at the cell edge(or in other poor radio condition regions of a cell). Data from UEs connected to those assisting UEs is encrypted to allow secure transit of data without requiring modification to the RAN or Core Network.
