    • An apparatus for compaction, breaking and rubbilization comprises a first non-circular plate having a first plate flat portion and a first plate thickness, a second non-circular plate having a second plate flat portion and a second plate thickness substantially equivalent to the first plate thickness, and a third plate having a third plate first flat portion and a third plate second flat portion and a third plate thickness less than the first plate thickness and the second plate thickness.     • A concrete breaking apparatus (10) includes a non-circular multi-lobed impact roller (16) connected via an axle (18) to a wheeled frame (22) such that the roller rolls upon the ground as the frame (22) is towed by a tractor (12). Each lobe (20) of the roller includes a ridge (30) extending across the width of the roller (16) and projecting outwardly from the impact surface of each lobe (20) along a line parallel to the axle (18) and generally centrally located within the dynamic impact region of the impact surface (26). The ridge (30) may take various configurations, including a triangular cross section, a semi-circular cross section, and a plurality of spaced-apart projections (42).

    • A compaction roller assembly (10) includes a lobed non-circular impact roller (12) operably mounted on a draw frame (14) and a grader (16) operably mounted behind the impact roller (12) to level the corrugated ground surface produced by the impact roller. The grader (16) includes a pair of diverging frame members (22) with a pair of blades (54) mounted thereon and depending therefrom with the lower edges of the blades lying within a generally horizontal plane. A plurality of teeth (60) may be mounted to the frame members (22) to scarify the soil, each tooth (60) being removably connected to the frame members to permit ease of conversion between a grader blade and a scarifier. Each tooth (60) is a generally flat plate, the plates oriented parallel to one another and parallel to the line of travel of the grader (16). Each tooth plate forward edge (68) includes a concave arc-shaped lower portion extending from the lower end of the tooth to a point proximal the lower edge of the blade. Removable support skids (86) are provided to the frame member for supporting the grader in fine particulate soil.
