摘要： An improved window screen consists of a frame (12) supporting an essentially transparent screen (10) including a plurality of woven strands (20) with the strands (20) being the only elements disposed in the frame (12), and with each of the strands (20) being substantially free of optical attenuation and optical distortion. The frame (12) has a suitable support arrangement for maintaining the woven strands (20) in tension. The transparent screen (10) including the woven arrangement of elongated substantially round strands (20) is transparent in all planes such that all light (30) impinging thereon passes therethrough without significant distortion or attenuation.
