摘要： The invention relates to an air channel system for a fireplace and to a feed door frame consisting of two parts, an inner part (7) and an outer part (3). The frame parts are fixed against each other by screw fastening, the outer shell (6) of the body being pressed between the inner part and the outer part, and a casing-like space (9) arising between the inner part, the outer part and the body member. The air is conducted through the ash box door to the casing-like space (9) in the frame from the air channel (2), which is located inside the outer shell (6) of the fireplace. In the lower part of the frame, the air flow is divided into two parts by means of a partition wall (11). The air is conducted through the openings (8) to the lower part of the firebox, and the air rising from the sides upwards along the frame sides is conducted through the openings (12) in the upper part of the frame to a position above the flame burning in the fireplace. Because the feed door frame becomes burning hot under the action of radiant heat, the secondary air in the air space is sufficiently heated, simultaneously cooling the frame so as to eliminate or reduce any inconveniences caused by excessive heat.
