摘要： A directional display apparatus including a directional display device that is capable of directing a displayed image into a viewing window of variable width is provided with a privacy control function. A control system detects the presence of one or more secondary viewers in addition to a primary viewer, and decides whether the one or more secondary viewers is permitted to view the displayed image. The control system directs a displayed image into a viewing window which is adjusted, for example by decreasing the width, in dependence on that detection. In addition, the control system detects relative movement between the primary viewer and the display device, and the width of the viewing window is increased in response to detection of said relative movement.

摘要： A system and method are presented for determining window geometry. In an embodiment, a party to an interaction using a streaming video connection may want to share content on their display with another party to the interaction. A party may wish to annotate an on-screen target for the other party. In an embodiment, markers or magic bars may also be used to map the screens to each other in addition to coordinates. When one party annotates an on-screen target on their display, the coordinates on the party's display are translated for the other party and the annotation is placed in the intended location on that party's screen. Masking of content may also be performed such that contact on one user's screen may not be visible to the other party during the screen share.

摘要： A method of processing image data for display by a display panel of a display device comprises receiving image pixel data representing an image. In a first mode, the method performs a first mapping of the image pixel data to drive signals, each drive signal for driving a respective pixel or group of pixels of the display panel. The first mapping is arranged to produce an on-axis luminance pattern which is dependent mainly on the image pixel data and an off-axis luminance pattern which is wholly or substantially independent of the image pixel data. The first mapping is arranged, for a pixel or a group of pixels, to map the image pixel data for the pixel or group of pixels to one of a first plurality of preselected drive signals including at least first and second pre-selected drive signals that drive, in use, the pixel or group of pixels of the display panel to produce different on-axis luminance values and that drive, in use, the pixel or group of pixels of the display panel to produce the same or similar off-axis luminance values at at least one off-axis viewing angle. This provides a private display mode. If a public display mode is desired, a second mapping of the image pixel data to a second plurality of drive signals is performed instead of the first mapping. The second mapping is arranged to produce an on-axis luminance pattern which is dependent mainly on the image pixel data and an off-axis luminance pattern which is dependent mainly on the image pixel data.

Systems and methods are disclosed for limiting the number of display devices that can connect to a continuous glucose transmitter.
