摘要： A foot position training apparatus (10) for teaching proper foot position for batting a baseball includes a foot support member (12) formed in the shape of the sole of a shoe. A toe portion (30) is attached to a front edge (18) of the support member (12) and extends upwardly and rearwardly therefrom and defines a space for receiving the toes of a batter's foot and, more particularly, for reciving the toe portion of the batter's shoe. The toe portion (30) restricts vertical movement of a batter's foot when batting a baseball. The apparatus (10) further includes an upstanding wall (36) extending along an outer edge (24) of the support surface (14) between the toe portion (30) and a rear edge (20) for restricting outward lateral movement of a batter's foot when batting a baseball. A plurality of cleats (38) are threadably coupled to a lower surface (16) of the foot support member (12) for selectively engaging a ground surface.
