    • Systems and methods relating to Discovery Signal Measurement Timing Configuration (DMTC) are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a radio access node in a cellular communications network comprises sending, to a wireless device, a DMTC for one of a group consisting of: (a) a Secondary Cell (SCell) configured for the wireless device such that the DMTC is a specific DMTC for the SCell and (b) a frequency on which one or more asynchronous cells are operating, an asynchronous cell being a cell that is unsynchronized with a Primary Cell (PCell) of the wireless device. A DMTC configuration that is specific to a SCell provides improved measurement performance on the SCell because, e.g., the DMTC configuration can be specifically tailored to that SCell. A DMTC configuration for a frequency on which one or more asynchronous cells are operating provides improved measurement performance on that carrier.

    • The present disclosure relates to a method performed in a UE radio device 4 Connected to a communication network 1 comprising a core network (CN) 5 and a Radio Access Network (RAN) 2 , e.g. eNB, where there is a communication bearer between the radio device and the CN via the RAN comprising a radio bearer 11 between the radio device and a RAN node 3 of the RAN. The purpose of the method is to adapt a Quality of Service (QoS) of the communication bearer, and in particular of the radio bearer, depending on whether critical data or non-critical data is being transmitted. The UE sends to the eNB an indication of which QoS shall be applied to the radio bearer. The method comprises, to the CN, sending a request for a first QoS to be associated with the communication bearer. The method also comprises exchanging data over the radio bearer in accordance with the first QoS of the communication bearer. The method also comprises, to the RAN, sending by the UE radio device an indication that a second QoS, lower than the first QoS, should be used for the radio bearer. The method also comprises exchanging data over the radio bearer in accordance with the second QoS.
