The microprocessor is electrically coupled to and powered by the batteries. The microprocessors are programmed to emit a sound upon activation from a first pet toy components, and thereafter to switch the generation of the sound to the second pet toy component upon sensing movement of the first pet toy component, this switching occurring back and forth between the two pet toy components as long as movement is sensed.

摘要： An electronic pet door is provided herein. The electronic pet door includes a pivotal flap and a frame that defines a through-way. A rotatable knob is mounted to the frame and has a handle portion and a stop wall. The handle portion and stop wall include various profiles and configurations that work in concert to control the flap's direction of pivotal movement. In a first configuration, the flap may swing outwardly or inwardly. A second configuration prevents the flap from swinging inwardly. A third configuration prevents the flap from swinging outwardly. A fourth configuration places the flap is in a locked position to prevent swinging in either direction. The electronic door also includes an electronic latch mechanism which selectively latches and unlatches the flap. The latch mechanism unlatches the flap in response to a wireless signal from an electronic transmitter that may be affixed to a pet.

摘要： A communication channel between a first processor of the receiver and a second processor of the battery assembly is provided using a comparator coupled to second processor of the battery assembly. The receiver or battery assembly transmits a first communication to establish the communication channel. In response, the battery assembly requests a public key from the receiver. The receiver combines the public key with a private key stored in memory, applies a first hash function to combined public key, stores a first hash value in memory and transmits the public key to the battery assembly. The battery assembly combines the public key with a corresponding private key, applies a corresponding hash function to the combined public key and transmits a second hash value to the receiver. The receiver compares the first hash value to the second hash value and enables operations of the receiver when the first hash value equals the second hash value.
