摘要： Lubricating solutions are seud on conveying system in the beverage industry during the filling of containers with dairy products or other beverages. Lubricating compositions of the present invention, especially those designed for use in heavy load bearing conveyors such as those in the dairy industry conveying systems for contained beverages, comprise at least the following components: (a) an alkyl alkoxylated (e.g., ethoxylated or propoxylated, preferably ethoxylated) phosphate ester, (b) a secondary alcohol alkoxylate, (with an optional aryl [e.g., aromatic, such as phenol] alkoxylated [e.g., ethoxylated or propoxylated] phosphate ester), (c) an aromatic or linear quaternary ammonium antimicrobial agent, and (d) a liquid carrier, such as water. These lubricating solutions are capable of providing good lubricity and antimicrobial activity over a prolonged time and under high stress and heavy loads.

摘要： The present invention relates to an aqueous metalworking liquid, which has the form of a clear solution at 20 DEG C, is precipitated at a temperature higher than 20 DEG C and contains: (a) a polypropylene glycol compound containing 6-100 propyleneoxy groups and lacking the presence of hydrocarbons groups having more than 12 carbon atoms, and (b) at least one water-soluble anionic compound, selected from the group consisting of a phosphate ester or an ether carboxylate, the anionic compound containing 1-40 oxyalkylene groups having 2-4 carbon atoms and lacking presence of hydrocarbon groups with more than 12 carbon atoms. The metalworking liquid has excellent lubricating properties and can easily be worked up and reused without leaving troublesome coatings on the metal surfaces.

Also disclosed are a metal working composition which comprises a metal working fluid concentrate containing metal working adjuvants in a form which forms solid residue upon loss of water, particularly salt form and a residue inhibiting composition selected from dihydric alcohols, polyhydric alcohols or mixtures thereof and the like in an amount effective to inhibit formation of a residue(s) of the metal working adjuvant(s), and a method of inhibiting residue formation during a metal working operation using the above metal working composition that has been diluted.

摘要： The invention relates to a lubricant which contains solid particles that are dispersed in an organic matrix and have a mean particle size of between 1 and 500 nm. The lubricant preferably contains between 0.05 and 30 % by weight, in relation to the total formulation, of solid particles. The organic matrix is preferably selected from among native or mineral oils or fats, carboxylic acid salts with between 12 and 44 carbon atoms, waxes and organic polymers. The solid particles are preferably selected from the metal oxides, metal hydroxides, metal nitrides, metal carbides, metal phosphides, metal borides and metal sulfides and preferably have a hydrophobic coating. The above lubricants can be used to lubricate parts moving in relation to each other, as forming aid, cutting fluid and rolling oil emulsion.

The method is carried out in presence of an aqueous cooing lubricant containing a combination of an alkanolamine, a mono- or diphosphate ester and a mono- or dicarboxylic acid. The combination is capable of reducing both the release of cobalt ions and the corrosion of iron. In addition it also contributes essentially to the lubrication.

Furthermore, the invention provides a concentrate, which upon dilution with water, forms this aqueous antimicrobial composition. 摘要： This invention relates to novel water soluble metal working fluid compositions, their use to work metal, a process for working metal using such compositions and the metal worked article of manufacture. More particularly, this invention relates to fluid compositions useful in cutting, grinding, shaping and other metal working operations which require a lubricant. The terms "first Group A" and "second Group B" are used herein to denote different groups and not to indicate any sequence of use or selection as any possible combination or sequence of use of a component(s) is envisioned without limit of any kind. The disclosed fluid compositions are also anticorrosive and environmentally more acceptable than current oil based fluids. There has now been discovered an essentially odorless, substantially non-oil misting, water-soluble metal working fluid comprising at least one component selected from a first Group A herein and optionally one or more components selected from a second Group B herein preferably with the balance of the composition being water and other (optional) minor ingredients. When a component is employed from Group A and a component is employed from Group B the action of the combination generally enhances performance of the resulting combination with contain moieties from both Group A and Group B.
