    • Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatuses and computer programs for scheduling a transmission. A method implemented at a terminal device comprises receiving, from a network device, a scheduling configuration for a device to device, D2D, transmission of the terminal device; receiving, from the network device, an uplink scheduling grant for a cellular uplink transmission in a same time resource overlapping with the D2D transmission; determining a scheduling priority for the D2D transmission relative to the cellular uplink transmission based on at least one of: a first comparison between an associated priority of the scheduling configuration and a first priority threshold, and a transmission restriction; and performing at least one of the D2D transmission and the cellular uplink transmission based on the determined scheduling priority. With embodiments of the disclosure, D2D transmission and cellular uplink transmission from a terminal device can be well coordinated.

    • The present disclosure relates to methods and arrangements for performing wireless device assisted handover form a source access node to a target access node. Performed in a wireless device, the disclosure presents a method for performing wireless device assisted handover from a source access node to a target access node in a wireless network. The method comprises performing (S31) one or more mobility measurements for corresponding candidate radio links and selecting (S32), from the one or more candidate radio links, an initial target link based on the performed one or more mobility measurements. A first radio link measurement report, based on the one or more mobility measurements, identifying the initial target link, is transmitted (S33) to the source target node using a first radio link reporting mechanism whereupon communication over the initial target link is initiated (S34). A second radio link measurement report for the one or more candidate radio links and based on the same one or more mobility measurements, is transmitted (S35) on the initial target link using a second radio link measurement report different from the first radio link reporting mechanism.

    • Embodiments of the present disclosure propose a method and an apparatus for facilitating mobility in an ultra-dense network, e.g. mmW network. Particularly, there is provided a method at a network node for facilitating mobility in a communications network. The method comprises transmitting duplicates of data received from an upper level network node and directed to a terminal device served by a first lower level network node to the first lower level network node and a second lower level network node for buffering. The method also comprises receiving a status report from the first lower level network node indicating that the data is successfully received at the terminal device. The method further comprises generating a data discarding command according to the status report and signaling the data discarding command to the second lower level network node so that the duplicate of the data buffered at the second lower level network node is discarded according to the data discarding command.

    • By introducing a novel parameter common to all links along the entire multihop route it is possible to more flexibly allocate, for each of a number of the links, a set of three interdependent link transmit parameters representative of a) link transmit energy, b) link transmit time or link transmit bandwidth or link code word consumption, and c) link transmit power. Basically, the common parameter is determined based on a given end-to-end (ETE) transmit parameter constraint for the entire multihop route (S 1). The idea is then to assign or allocate, for each considered link, the three interdependent link transmit parameters based on the common parameter and local link characteristics (S2). In this way, all three link transmit parameters may (and generally will) be different between at least two links on the route when the links have different link characteristics, assuming that each link transmit parameter is also dependent on the local link characteristics. Preferably, the common parameter is determined in the process of optimizing a given objective ETE function.
