    • A rupture sealing device is provided. The rupture sealing device comprises an anchor mechanism for being disposed through the rupture of a container and for interacting with an inside wall of the container in proximity to the rupture. The rupture sealing device further comprises a substantially deformable sealing body for interacting in a sealing fashion with an outside wall of the container in proximity to the rupture. The sealing body has a pressure contact surface and extends a substantial distance therefrom. A pressure structure is in contact with the pressure contact surface of the sealing body for providing pressure acting on the sealing body. A fastening mechanism is connected to the anchor mechanism. The fastening mechanism comprises a fastening structure for interacting with a respective fastening element connected to the pressure structure to provide the pressure acting on the sealing body.

    • The invention relates to a stirrer organ (1) in composite construction comprised of a metallic part (4) and a hybrid casting (9), with the hybrid casting (9) being fixed to the metallic part (4) by means of at least one anchoring element which forms at least one back-cutting in the hybrid casting (9). Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for rehabilitating a damaged metallic stirrer organ which when applied provides a rehabilitated stirrer organ (1) in composite construction. The invention tackles the task of creating a stirrer organ (1) in hybrid construction which features a largest possible metallic part (4) because higher strength can hereby be achieved. This task is inventively solved in that the anchoring element is provided with a perforated plate (5) which is spot-wise fastened to the metallic part (4) and which is arranged at least partly at a small distance to the surface of the metallic part (4) so as to configure the at least one back-cutting.

Im Rahmen des Verfahrens wird hierzu die für ein Flach- oder Korbfitting jeweils geeignete Fassmuffe eines umzurüstenden Bierfasses ausgeschnitten und anschließend eine Austauschmuffe, die für das jeweils andere Fitting geeignet ist, mit einem speziellen Anschlusskranz in den Ausschnitt eingesetzt und mit der übrigen anschlussseitigen Stirnseite des Bierfasses verbunden, z.B. verschweißt.

    • A method for manufacturing a part selected from a plurality of part types is disclosed. The method involves the step of selecting, from a supply of workpieces, a workpiece of a type that is associated with the type of part selected, the workpiece having a void and a substantially annular outer surface. Using a lathe, the selected workpiece is machined into the selected part. The workpiece, during the machining step, is mounted to the lathe by a collet associated with the type of part selected. The collet is an expanding collet which, during machining, is received by the void and engages the workpiece in gripping relation. The part can be a bushing for an aircraft landing gear and the workpiece can be an oversized bushing. The method can be carried out at an aircraft repair facility and the oversized bushings can be procured from specialist fabricators.
