摘要： A system to deliver gas/vapor from solid materials. Specifically, the delivery system for the use of gas or vapor released from a solid material, such as a non-aqueous/solid hydrogen peroxide complex. The system is comprised of a delivery system that is configured to receive a plurality of disks containing the solid material and provide these disks into an injector. The injector heats the disks to produce a gas or vapor that is then provided into a chamber. The sterilization process can be done by gas or vapor alone, or in combination with plasma or ultra violet radiation. In particular, a control system automatically induces the delivery system to provide the injector with a disk and then remove the disk once the injection sequence is complete.

摘要： An insect pest control method and an apparatus suitable therefor, wherein an air current is supplied to a pesticide-carrying support under non-heating conditions to vaporize and disperse a highly safe pesticidal component from the pesticide, thereby controlling flying pest insects. The pesticide-carrying support is prepared by supporting on a support a pesticidal component of a compound hard to evaporate at normal temperature, preferably, at least one pesticidal component selected from compounds that have vapor pressures lower than 1 x 10 mmHg at 30 DEG C, a difficulty in evaporating at normal temperature, and boiling points of at least 120 DEG C/1mmHg. The pesticide support is placed and exposed to a gas current by using a blower device so as to vaporize the pesticidal component from the support into the gas under non-heating conditions. The support is gas permeable so that when the support with a pesticide is placed in the apparatus, the support will not block the gas current going to a vent hole.

摘要： The invention relates to a process for preparing a chitosan-containing aqueous emulsion of an oil comprising the steps of (a) forming an oil-in-water emulsion by homogenizing said oil into an aqueous solution containing an anionic emulsifier; and (b) adding to the emulsion obtained in (a) an aqueous chitosan solution while continuously homogenizing the mixture to give a stable emulsion. In a further aspect the invention relates to a process for the microcapsulation of fine oil droplets. The invention also relates to sustained-release biodegradable preparations comprising as active ingredient vitamin E or a UV radiation photoprotectant or a lice repelling agent comprising at least one natural oil or natural oil component thereof and further comprising an anionic emulsifier and chitosan.
