    • A method is disclosed for a wireless transceiver comprising a plurality of transceiver antenna elements and configured to operate in a communication network. The method comprises dynamically assigning (from the plurality of transceiver antenna elements) a first set of transceiver antenna elements allocated for channel sensing and a second set of transceiver antenna elements allocated for communication, performing channel sensing using the first set of transceiver antenna elements, and operating the wireless transceiver based on a result of the performed channel sensing. For example, dynamically assigning the first and second sets of transceiver antenna elements may comprise (in a non-communication mode of the wireless transceiver) letting the first set comprise all of the transceiver antenna elements and letting the second set be empty, (in a communication transmission mode of the wireless transceiver) letting the first set comprise a first subset of the transceiver antenna elements and letting the second set comprise a second subset of the transceiver antenna elements, wherein the first and second subsets are nonoverlapping, and (in a communication reception mode of the wireless transceiver) letting the first set comprise a third subset of the transceiver antenna elements and letting the second set comprise a fourth subset of the transceiver antenna elements, wherein the third and fourth subsets are non-overlapping or overlapping. Corresponding apparatus, wireless transceiver, access node, user device and computer program product are also disclosed.

    • A method of a network node adapted to transmit a wake-up signal for waking up one or more wireless communication receivers is disclosed, as well as a method for the wireless communication receiver, such network node and wireless communication receiver, and computer programs for implementing the methods. Each wireless communication receiver is comprised in a wireless communication device and is associated with a wake-up radio adapted to wake up the wireless communication receiver in response to detecting the wake-up signal. An indication of a maximum frequency error of the wake-up radio associated with the wireless communication receiver is acquired such that a non-data transmission bandwidth for exclusive use by the wake-up signal can be determined. The wake-up signal is transmitted over a wake-up signal transmission frequency interval having a wake-up signal transmission bandwidth, wherein the wake-up signal transmission bandwidth is less than, or equal to, the non-data transmission bandwidth. The method of the wireless communication receiver comprises transmitting a message to the network node indicative of a maximum frequency error of the wake-up radio, wherein the maximum frequency error is for determination by the network node of a non-data transmission bandwidth for the exclusive use by the wake-up signal.

    • A transmitter 108 and a method therein for transmitting overlaid and underlaid signals to a narrowband receiver 112 and a wideband receiver 110. The transmitter and the receivers operate in a wireless communications network 100. The transmitter generates a narrowband signal carrying data for the narrowband receiver. The narrowband signal is generated by: mapping user code bits of the data to a first set of binary symbols; generating a second set of binary symbols by precoding the first set of binary symbols; rotating the binary symbols of the second set resulting in rotated constellation symbols; and filtering the rotated constellation symbols. Further, the transmitter generates a wideband signal carrying data for the wideband receiver. Furthermore, the transmitter overlays the generated narrowband signal over the generated wideband signal and transmits, to the narrowband receiver and the wideband receiver, the overlaid narrowband signal and the underlaid wideband signal, respectively.
