In additional embodiment's, the present invention is directed to a method of creating a termite assurance program to limit termite damage to a structure including the steps of providing an initial investigation of termite detection, damage, or activity for a structure; placing a termite station comprising a housing, at least one entry point in the housing allowing for ingress and egress of a termite, and materials from a Sabal palm tree contained within the housing in an area proximate the structure, and inspecting the termite station for live termites or evidence of termite activity after it is placed.
