    • When proceeding to radio bearings on board of vessels, most often the results are distorted by the mast. To eliminate this error source a system of goniometric antennas is implemented having different directivity diagrams. At least two of the diagrams present zero points in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the vessel, which longitudinal direction extends conveniently and entirely in the vertical plane passing by the longitudinal axis of the vessel. It is particularly convenient to use a double frame (I, II) comprised of two frame antennas in which the planes of the frames are vertical and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vessel. From said antennas, a dipole voltage and a frame voltage will be decoupled. The corresponding voltages are connected together. The installation will be conveniently completed to obtain a cross radiogoniometric antenna by adding a second frame (III, IV) perpendicular to the first double frame. The installation may be used together with a two-channel display unit (24).

    • The invention relates to a process for pattern recognition using processes comprising recognition algorithms in a multiprocess environment and in a distributed data base, the data pattern consisting of objects, links for connecting objects and attributes for writing. The recognition algorithms have no knowledge concerning the implementation of the data storage. According to the process of the invention a predetermined number of ports for reading input data and writing output data are attributed to each process and the exchange of data between processes is performed implicitly, so that parts of the multiple data bases are sent or received by calling up data access functions.
