摘要： The nonwoven composite fabric of the invention provides a barrier to blood and viral challenges, and also provides breathability for comfort. The fabric is particularly suited for use as a disposable surgical gown. The fabric comprises a first microporous ply comprising a microporous formable resin that has been extrusion coated onto a nonwoven fabric substrate and subsequently stretched to impart microporosity, and at least one additional ply positioned adjacent the first microporous ply. The nonwoven composite fabric has barrier properties passing the ASTM F1671 viral barrier test, and the MVTR of the composite fabric is at least 300 g/m /24hr.

The boot (10), liner (50), insole (80) combination can be advantageously worn by a wearer, such as a firefighter, who needs quickly to don the combination and to doff the combination.

摘要： Disclosed are multilayer protective materials showing increased heat resistance and used for operation in areas of intense heat radiation and open flames. The object of the invention includes: a heat insulating material comprising a heat-resistant fiber substrate; a layer of waterproof material with a metal coating, said layer consisting of a cross-linked polymer having a liquid diffusion coefficient equal or less than 10 g * sec/cm ; and a hermetic layer made of a rubber-based elastomer. Alternatively, the layer of waterproof material is made of a porous material selected from a group comprising polyolefins and fluorine-, chlorine- or silicon-containing polymers; whereby the size of the pores is between 0,01 and 1,0 micrometers. The layer of metal coating is an aluminum, copper or titanium nitride layer having a thickness of between 0,05 and 0,25 micrometers. The invention allows to create materials with better fireproof features, to ensure the resistance of the materials as long as the heat effects last and to increase effectiveness of the protective action thereof.
