摘要： A suspension package assembly can include a package member and a stretchable retention member. The package member and a stretchable retention member cooperate to suspend at least one article. At least one article can be held securely between the retention member and a base member of the foldable member. The pocket of the retention member can be positioned over the foldable portions of the package member. The foldable portions can fit into the pockets and then can be folded so as to generate tension in the retention member. Coupling assemblies inhibit relative movement of the retention member and the packaging member.

摘要： Cushioned overpacks (8) are employed for containing, transporting, and storing discarded electrical transformers (4) contaminated by toxic materials such as polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB's). Other articles may be similarly contained, transported, and stored using such cushioned overpacks. The discarded transformers (4) are then consigned to such overpacks (8) together with one or more cushions (26, 34, 38). The cushions (26, 34, 38) serve to prevent puncturing of the overpack (8) by the transformers (4) during transport and storage. Preferred cushions have a foam composition and are inserted into the overpack by means of a pour in place process. Preferred overpacks include an inner surface which is roughened so as to adhere to the inserted cushion. After the insertion of the transformer and cushion is complete the assembly is hermetically sealed by a spin welded closure (42) onto the receptacle (6).
