    • A presente invenção refere-se a processo de obtenção e uso de composições constituídas de nanopartículas de própolis, opcionalmente, associadas a uma ou mais substâncias de interesse, tais como princípios ativos, bem como, opcionalmente, substâncias de efeito secundário, tais como sinergistas e adjuvantes. O processo de obtenção das nanopartículas compreende as seguintes etapas de: i) preparo de: uma fração A, que consiste em extrato de própolis dissolvido em solvente orgânico à qual pode ser adicionado um ou mais estabilizantes e/ou emulsificantes, bem como adicionada de, opcionalmente, uma ou mais substâncias de interesse e/ou de efeito secundário; ii) preparo de uma fração B, fase aquosa, constituída de: (ii.1) água; ou (ii.2) de uma solução ou dispersão aquosa, à qual pode ser adicionado um ou mais estabilizantes e/ou emulsificantes; iii) gotejamento da fração A sobre a fração B ou da fração B na fração A; iv) homogeneização da mistura por meio de agitação mecânica e formação espontânea de nanopartículas com tamanho médio de 1 a 1000 nm em uma dispersão; v) opcionalmente, podem-se envolver as seguintes etapas adicionais: (v-1) remoção do solvente orgânico; e/ou (v-2) secagem da nanodispersão. As composições desenvolvidas têm aplicações em campos tais como agroquímico, farmacêutico cosmético ou químico.

    • A herbicidal composition is provided, the composition comprising microcapsules containing a solution of at least one herbicidally active compound that is solid at room temperature and with a melting point below 190°C, said herbicidally active compound being other than a sulfonylurea, preferably fluroxypyr, in a polyhyrdric alcohol ester solvent system; the microcapsules being suspended in a continuous phase of a polyhydric alcohol solvent system having suspended therein finely divided particles of one or more sulfonylureas. A method for preparing the composition comprises the steps of i) providing a water-immiscible liquid phase comprising a polyhydric alcohol ester, an active compound that is solid at room temperature and with melting point below 190°C, and a first wall forming component; ii) providing an aqueous phase comprising water and, optionally, one or more surface active agents; iii) combining the water immiscible phase with the aqueous phase to form a dispersion of the water-immiscible phase in the continuous aqueous phase; iv) adding a second wall forming component to the resulting mixture, causing interfacial polymerization of the first and second wall forming components and thereby encapsulate the droplets of the water-immiscible phase; v) providing a suspension of a sulfonylurea in a polyhydric alcohol ester, optionally with one or more dispersants; and vi) combining the composition prepared in step (iv) with the composition prepared in step (v).

    • A method for preparing a formulation comprising clomazone is disclosed, the method comprising the steps of (i) combining microcapsules having a polymer shell and a core comprising clomazone, a solid carrier and a binder to form a mixture; (ii) forming granules from the resulting mixture; (iii) applying a composition comprising a binder to coat the granules; and (iv) drying the thus coated granules. A further method for preparing a formulation comprising clomazone is provided, the method comprising the steps of (i) combining microcapsules having a polymer shell and a core comprising clomazone, a solid carrier and a dispersant to form a mixture; (ii) forming granules from the resulting mixture; (iii) applying a composition comprising a dispersant to coat the granules; and (iv) drying the thus coated granules.
