    • A dispensing structure (20) is provided for a container (22) that has an opening (26) from which a product can be dispensed. The structure (20) includes a body (30) for extending around the container opening (26). The body (30) defines an upper deck (74) and also defines a recessed lower deck (76) defining at least a portion of a first dispensing aperture (80) communicating with the container opening (26). An intermediate member (40) defines at least one second dispensing aperture (96) that is smaller than the first dispensing aperture (80). The intermediate member (40) is pivotable about an axis between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the intermediate member (40) has a top surface (92) that is preferably generally flush with the upper surface (74) of the upper deck (74). A lid (50) is pivotable on the closure body (30) about a different axis and can be closed to occlude the second dispensing aperture (96).

    • A one-piece container closure with a collar, stiff planar triangular leaflets attached by linear hinges to the collar, and thin flexible foldable webs attached to and extending between the leaflets. The leaflets are flat with the webs folded beneath in closed closure position. The leaflets are pivoted upwardly with webs unfolded therebetween in open position. An integral cap is attached to the collar by a snap-action bow-tie hinge. A central pin on the cap seals with the leaflets when the cap is closed.     • A dispensing system is provided for dispensing liquid from a container. The system includes a discharge conduit (41) defining a flow passage (52) for establishing fluid communication with liquid from the container. A resilient valve (80) is provided to extend across the discharge flow passage (52) in an initial, substantially non-deformed, closed configuration. The valve (80) has an interior side for being contacted by the liquid and an exterior side exposed to ambient external atmosphere. The valve (80) defines a normally closed dispensing orifice (84) that is displaceable outwardly to an open configuration when the pressure on the valve interior side exceeds the pressure on the valve exterior side by a predetermined amount, and is displaceable inwardly to an open configuration when the pressure on the valve exterior side exceeds the pressure on the valve interior side by a predetermined amount. A restraint structure (56) is disposed in the discharge conduit (41) in contact with the valve interior side when the valve (80) is in the initial, substantially non-deformed, closed configuration. The restraint structure (56) and the discharge conduit (41) together define at least one flow path accommodating flow of the liquid from the container against at least a portion of the valve interior side. The restraint structure (56) prevents the closed dispensing orifice (84) from opening inwardly when the ambient external pressure on the valve exterior side exceeds the pressure on the valve interior side.
