    • The invention relates to a method in a network controller node (20) for transmitting an emergency message to a mobile station (10) within a cell of an access point (AP) connected to the network controller node (20) within a telecommunications network. The network controller node (20) receives information of the mobile station (10) and determines location of the mobile station (10) based on the received information. In addition, the network controller node (20) receives an emergency notification comprising an indicator indicating affected area and determines that the mobile station (10) is within the indicated affected area based on the determined location. That being the case, the network controller node (20) then transmits the emergency message, via the access point (AP), to the mobile station (10) in the cell.

    • Method and arrangement in a base band unit (150) for performing a handover of a wireless communication device (110) from a first remote radio unit (120) to a second remote radio unit (130). The first remote radio unit and the second remote radio unit are connected to the base band unit. They may also exchange wireless signals with the wireless communication device over a first and a second radio link respectively. The method is initialised and performed without need for firstly receiving an initiation signal from the wireless communication device. The method comprises obtaining a first and a second radio link quality measure. The method further comprises determining to initiate a handover from the first radio link to the second radio link. Further yet, the method comprises sending the same base band signals to the second remote radio unit, as to the first remote radio unit and then terminating the sending of base band signals to the first remote radio unit.

    • The invention comprises a method and a corresponding apparatus (53). A candidate set of sensors that are available to participate in an occasion of cooperative spectrum sensing is obtained. For each sensor in the candidate set, its radial distance to a central coordinating node in a communication system is also obtained (73). A sequence of minimum radii is produced (75,79). For each minimum radius in the sequence, an accommodation number is determined (75,87). The accommodation number associated with a minimum radius is the greatest number of sensors that can be placed on circle having this radius without a probability that all these sensors are mutually uncorrelated falling below a design probability threshold. Sensors from the candidate set are then selectively added (91,95) to an active set of sensors based on the minimum radii, the corresponding accommodation numbers and the obtained radial distances.
