摘要： Apparatus for the production of a product gas (eg hydrogen and ozone) comprises: a supply of reactant gas (eg oxygen and steam) (14); a pair of electrodes (24) with a space between them of less than 1 mm (28); a conduit to lead the reactant gas from the source through the space between the electrodes; a power source (26) to apply a voltage across the electrodes to dissociate the reactant gas and ultimately permit formation of product gas; and a conduit (40) to supply the product gas to an outlet. A sterilisation unit for water treatment employs such apparatus and includes a fluidic oscillator to oscillate the flow of oxygen and/or ozone, and wherein said outlet comprises a plurality of orifices (42) to be submerged in said water and for the purpose of forming micro bubbles of ozone. An analyser for detecting large organic molecules in eg air can employ the ozone generator to breakdown the large molecule into simpler and easier- to- detect-and- identify molecules.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a method and apparatus for moving air using an air-conditioning system therein, whereby the air-conditioning system preferably includes at least one emitter electrode, at least one collector electrode, at least one driver electrode disposed adjacent to the collector electrode, and/or at least one trailing electrode positioned downstream of the collector electrode. The collector electrode and the driver electrode are removable from the device. In one embodiment, the driver electrodes are removable from the device and/or the collector electrode. The ability of remove the collector electrode as well as driver electrode allow for easy cleaning of the electrodes. In one embodiment, the present device includes a removable exhaust grill upon which the driver electrode and/or the trailing electrode are coupled to. The removable grill allows the user to easily clean the driver electrode without having to remove the collector electrode.

摘要： A high efficiency system for generating ozone includes a high frequency, high voltage AC power supply, preferably 20 khz at 100 watts. The ozone generator in the system comprising a pair of conductive plated mounted parallel and opposed to each other and a pair of dielectric films, preferably made of fused quartz, adhesively secured to the opposed faces of the plates by a heat-conductive, electrically-conductive adhesive. The dielectric films are spaced from each other to define an air space for flow of an oxygen containing air stream there through. The air space encloses corona discharges created when power is delivered to the conductive plates, the corona discharges converting a portion of the oxygen flowing there through to ozone. Cooling means are also provided to the plates.

摘要： There is provided a small and light ozone generating apparatus capable of producing ozone with much less consumption of electric power. The present invention comprises a pulse generator for generating high-voltage pulses and a discharge chamber for inducing electrical discharge in response to the high-voltage pulses. The pulse generator includes an LC circuit for compressing square wave signals and generating impulses. The use of impulse greatly reduces electric power consumption and volume of ozone generating apparatus. Electrical discharge takes place between an electrode plate and grounded chamber wall. A sheet of oxide dielectric covers the chamber wall to prevent corrosion of chamber wall.
