    • A touch sensor (310), such as a capacitive touch sensor, includes a substrate (312) having at least one passageway (324) established therethrough. A first conductive coating (314) is established at a first surface of the substrate, and a conductive element (320, 322) is disposed at the substrate and at least partially through the passageway. The conductive element establishes conductive continuity between the first surface and second or opposite surface of the substrate. The passageway may comprise multiple passageways and is/are established inboard of a perimeter edge of the substrate. The conductive element may include a first conductive material (320) disposed at the first surface and partially into the passageway and a second conductive material (322) disposed at the second surface and partially into the passageway, whereby the conductive materials contact one another in the passageway to establish conductive continuity between the first and second surfaces of the substrate.

    • A wheeled hose moving device (10) is movable over a support surface and is operable to grasp and lift and move a concrete supply hose (268) at the support surface. The wheeled device includes a wheeled support (12) and a hose grasping device (16) movably supported by the wheeled support. The hose grasping device (16) includes a pair of arms (48) that are generally vertically movable relative to the frame portion and that are movable relative to one another. The wheeled support is positionable generally at a concrete supply hose and the hose grasping device is lowerable to a level generally at the concrete supply hose. The arms are movable to engage and grasp the concrete supply hose, and the hose grasping device is operable to lift the grasped concrete supply hose, whereby the grasped and lifted concrete supply hose is movable over the support surface by the wheeled support.

    • An occupant detection system (10) for detecting an occupant within a vehicle includes a sensor (12) for sensing movement or acceleration of the vehicle, first and second processors (14, 16) and a decider (18). The sensor generates output data and the first processor processes the output data in a first manner and determines if the output data is indicative of an occupant in the vehicle. The first processor generates a first output. The second processor processes the output data in a second manner and determines if the output data is indicative of an occupant in the vehicle. The second processor generates a second output. The decider processes the first and second outputs and determines whether the combination of the first and second outputs is indicative of an occupant in the vehicle.
