    • An agricultural implement (10) is provided having a tongue (14), a central toolbar (22) extending from the tongue, and first and second wings (28,30) extending generally outwardly from the central toolbar. The implement may include a central hopper system (24) to provide the material to individual row units (34) along the central toolbar and wings, or may include individual hoppers (39) located at each of the row units along the toolbars. A weight distribution system (50) is used with the implement to update and adjust the amount of down force applied at the outer toolbars or wings, and the individual row units. The distribution system includes an intelligent control (56) connected to sensors (58,59,60,62,64) and cylinders (52). Therefore, the intelligent control receives information from the sensors and adjusts the cylinders accordingly to provide the appropriate amount of down force and to adjust the down force on a real time basis, and can be a closed loop or open loop system.

    • A row unit of an agricultural planter includes a seed meter (40). The seed meter includes first and second disks (70,71) within a seed meter housing (42). The first and second seed disks are positioned in the seed meter housing such that the disks rotate in the same rotation direction and include a common seed release point (55). A single drive member (65) is operatively connected to both the first and second seed disks such that the drive member selectively rotates one or both of the first or second seed disks at a time. The seed disks may be angularly positioned and conical-shaped member with a central axis and comprising seed cells radially positioned about an outer portion and being substantially non-perpendicular to the central axis. An air pressure source also is included to adhere seed to the disks.

    • A pneumatic coupler and method for coupling a hose to a surface of an agricultural implement is provided. The pneumatic coupler includes a hollow tube with a radially extending flange. The flange has one or more cutouts to permit the flange to pass through an aperture containing one or more protrusions. The flange has one or more recesses to mate with the one or more protrusions to mitigate rotation of the pneumatic coupler relative to the surface.
