摘要： An electrical adapter is provided including a board having first and second planar surfaces, a male electrical socket coupled to the first planar surface of the printed circuit board and a female electrical socket coupled to the second planar surface of the printed circuit board. The board includes electrical connectors electrically coupling the male and female electrical sockets. The male electrical socket of the adapter is suitable for temporary connection to a female electrical interface of a first electrical device, and the female electrical socket is suitable for temporary connection to a male electrical interface of a second electrical device. The three-way connector (14) is placed along various points in a main power or control line (10) where a power or control device (18) is located, to provide a drop line from the main line to the power or control device (18). The three-way connector (14) includes three receptacles (32, 34, 36), two of which are used to connect portions of the main line (10). The third receptacle is used for the drop line which connects to the power or control device (18). The three-way connector (14) allows the main line (10) to be made up of several interconnected lines or cord sets (12), so that the power or control architecture can be easily customized to meet the user's needs, and can be easily modified if the user's needs change.

摘要： A modular feed-though adapter that allows an electrical connection to a power line network adapter without "using up" an electrical outlet is described. In one embodiment, the modular feed-through adapter also provides noise filtering to protect electrical equipment plugged into the feed-through outlet. The noise filtering also protects the power line network data signals from noise generated by the devices plugged into the feed-through adapter. In one embodiment, the network connections provided by the feed-through adapter are low voltage connections, thus allowing the network connections from the feed-through adapter to be safely plugged directly into low-voltage equipment such as computer network cards and the like. In one embodiment, the modular adapter includes a balun to couple network data signals to the power line.
