    • A trap (10), is configured to attach to a waste outlet of a sanitaryware product, for example a sink, handbasin, bath or shower. The trap (10) comprises, a trap body (12), which includes an inlet port (16), an outlet port (20) and a first hollow sleeve (40) extending from the inlet port (16) into the trap body (12). A second hollow sleeve (52) is received inside the first hollow sleeve (40). A first end of the second hollow sleeve (52) is received inside the first hollow sleeve (40) and a second end of the second hollow sleeve (52) facilitates connection of the inlet port (16) to the waste outlet of the sanitaryware product to which the trap (10) is to be connected. The second hollow sleeve (52) is configured to slide relative the first hollow sleeve (40), thereby defining an adjustable neck, which moves relative to the inlet port (16) to adjust the height of the trap (10). The second hollow sleeve (52) houses an assembly of components, including a flexible shut-off valve (60) such that the second hollow sleeve (52) and the assembly of components, including the flexible shut-off valve (60) all move as a unit when the second hollow sleeve (52) is extended or retracted relative to the first hollow sleeve (40) and the trap body (12).
