摘要： The invention relates to a method for coating fibers shaped as fiber strands (rovings and mats) using a fluidized bed technique, wherein (i) the desired composition of the individual coating constituents is directly applied from the fluidized bed without previous compounding and (ii) the individual coating constituents contained in the fluidized bed are additionally mixed in the mass so that dissociation of individual constituents is substantially avoided. The cans are transported with a closed bottom (48) of each can magnetically held to the conveyor belt and an open top (30) of each can facing outwardly from the belt. The cans are transported into the coating bath at the inlet run with the closed bottom of each can entering the bath before the open top and emerge from the coating bath with the closed bottom of each can leading the open top.

摘要： An apparatus and method for continuously producing polymer coated particles, and in particular, a polymer coated fertilizer, wherein the coating material used is, for example, an aqueous film forming latex. The coating process is conducted with a plurality of fluidized beds, connected in series, under conditions such that, preferably, the relative humidity of the air in the initial coating zones is maintained below the critical relative humidity of the particle to be coated. The apparatus and process provides a method to prepare coated particles having a narrow coating weight distribution, and thus allows for the economical production of a slow release fertilizer.
