摘要： A data photographing device for a camera in a data photographing optical system, which includes a transparent electrode (8) formed in the pattern to be photographed (9) and a liquid crystal member (4), in which the desired photographic data is formed by applying a voltage to the desired portions of the transparant electrode (8), making the portions of the liquid crystal over those portions of the electrode become light transmissible. A light shielding member (7) including a light transmissable portion having approximately the same shape as the pattern of the transparant electrode (8) is arranged at a position in such a manner that the light transmissible portion (10) is optically superposed with the transparent electrode (8), thereby blocking passage of light through the liquid crystal except through the pattern of the transparent electrode (8). Consequently, the data can be clearly photographed on a film surface.
