The lifting means includes a lifting arm arrangement (5, 7) having a free end, which can be raised and lowered in relation to the base (1) and supports the lifting sling. The aid apparatus may turn over if the person leans at one side in standing position and a fork-shaped lateral support (10) is therefore arranged, the open end of which opens in the direction from the post (3) and surround the upper part of the body when the person is in standing position. The breadth of the fork-shaped lateral support (10) corresponds to the person's breadth and is not larger than the breadth of the U-formed base (11). The fork-shaped lateral support being arranged not swingable in relation to an axis, which is perpendicular to the plane of the U-formed base (11).

摘要： A seat-lifting device (10) according to the present invention features a toilet seat (12), a motor (14), a drive mechanism (40) and seat lift linkage (30). The seat lift linkage (30) is operably interconnected to the motor (14) by the drive mechanism (40) and also is interconnected to the toilet seat (12). In this way, motion of the motor (14) in a first direction causes the seat lift linkage (30) to move the toilet seat (14) a seated position to an elevated position. Correspondingly, motion of the motor (14) in a reverse direction causes the toilet seat (12) to move from the second position to the first position. More particularly, the seat-lifting device includes a support frame (20), that supports each of the motor (14), toilet seat (12), drive mechanism (40) and seat lift linkage (30) and more specifically pivotably supports the toilet seat the motion of the motor in either direction causes the toilet seat to pivot or rotate about a portion of the support frame.

摘要： A toilet seat assembly (100) provides a lifting operation to assist a user in safely engaging and disengaging a toilet. Toilet seat (108) is pivotally connected to a base plate (102) for rotation between an inclined and a horizontal position. While the seat is inclined, the user may approach it from a slightly bent standing position. By pushing against the seat, the user's weight loads an energy storing struts (112, 114) and forces the seat to lower gently into the horizontal position. Upon completion, the energy stored in the struts assists the user in arising from the seat. The assembly is also provided with armrests (136, 138).

摘要： A toilet seat provides a lifting operation to assist a user to safely engage and disengage a toilet. A toilet seat is pivotally arranged to swing between two positions, an incline position and a horizontal position. While the seat is in the incline position, a user may approach it from a slightly bent standing position. By pushing against the seat, the user's weight loads an energy storing strut and forces the seat to lower gently into its horizontal position. After which, the user may benefit from energy stored in the strut. The seat applies a pressure which lifts the user from the toilet and into a natural standing position. In some versions, the seat is powered by a compressed gas strut which is loaded by a user's weight when the user engages the device. The loaded strut energizes the pivoting seat to provide a force which operates to remove the user from the toilet. Additionally, the seat may be arranged with armrests so that user's arm strength may be used to aid the transition to and from the toilet.
