摘要： In examples, apparatus and methods are provided for an integrated circuit. The integrated circuit includes a first integrated circuit portion having a main power domain and a second integrated circuit portion having a collapsible power domain. The integrated circuit also has a level shifter having an input coupled to the second circuit portion and an output coupled to the first integrated circuit portion. The level shifter is configured to hold constant the level shifter output when power to the collapsible power domain is collapsed. A quiescent drain current measurement circuit can be coupled to test at least a part of the second integrated circuit portion. A boundary scan register can be coupled between the level shifter output and the first integrated circuit portion. The integrated circuit can also include a power management circuit.

摘要： The present invention provides a circuit and a method for preheating filaments and a ballast. The circuit for preheating filaments includes: a transistor; a first winding, one terminal of which being electrically connected with a collector of the transistor, and the other terminal being connected to an input of a power source; a second winding, one terminal of which being electrically connected with an emitter of the transistor, the other terminal being electrically connected with a base of the transistor, and the second winding being coupled with the first winding in a self-excitation mode; one or more load windings respectively connected with the filaments in series, and each of which being coupled with the first winding in a flyback mode; and a delay switch, which changes into an on state from an off state when a trigger signal with a predetermined delay is received, so as to turn off the transistor. There is also provided a method for preheating filaments and a ballast. The circuit for preheating filaments may save energy consumption and the cost is low.

摘要： Biomarkers for identifying trichogenic cells have been identified. The biomarkers include microRNA as wells as mRNA and proteins. Certain biomarkers are upregulated in trichogenic cells compared to non-trichogenic cells; whereas, other biomarkers are down-regulated in trichogenic cells compared to non-trichogenic cells. The cells can be dermal cells, epidermal cells, or a combination thereof. Preferably the cells are mammalian, more preferably the cells are human. One embodiment provides a method for selecting trichogenic cells by assaying the cells for expression of one or more biomarkers for trichogenicity, and selecting the cells having increased expression of the one or more biomarkers relative to a control, wherein increased expression of the a biomarker in the cells is indicative of trichogenicity. Preferably, the one or more biomarkers are selected from the group consisting of hsa-miR-200c, hsa-miR-205, hsa-miR-200a*, hsa-miR- 200a, hsa-miR-141, hsa-miR-182, DEPDC1, hFLEG1, ESM1, TOME- 1 , THBD and combinations thereof.

摘要： Embodiments of a system that includes one or more integrated circuits are described. During operation of the system, an interface in the one or more integrated circuits receives video signals associated with a video image and a brightness setting of a light source which illuminates a display that displays the video image. Next, an extraction circuit, which is electrically coupled to the input interface, calculates a brightness metric associated with the video image based on the received video signals. Then, an analysis circuit, electrically coupled to the extraction circuit, analyzes the brightness metric to identify one or more subsets of the video image, and an intensity circuit, electrically coupled to the analysis circuit, determines an intensity setting of the light source based on the brightness setting and a first portion of the brightness metric associated with one of the subsets of the video image. Note that this subset of the video image includes spatially varying visual information in the video image. Moreover, an output interface, electrically coupled to the intensity circuit, outputs the intensity setting of the light source.
