    • Provided is an apparatus for transmitting a synchronous signal using a plurality of transmitting antennas. The apparatus includes: a synchronous signal generating unit for generating a synchronous signal used for tracking synchronization of time or frequency; a transmission processing unit for allocating different sub-carriers to the plurality of transmitting antennas such that the sub-carriers do not overlap with each other, mapping the synchronous signal to the sub-carriers, and performing an IFFT (Inverse Fast Fourier Transformation) to generate OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbols; a control information combining unit for controlling codes as a source for discriminating signals transmitted from the plurality of transmitting antennas such that the codes do not overlap with each other among the plurality of transmitting antennas; and the plurality of transmitting antennas for transmitting the OFDM symbols. The present invention reduces the effects of channel interference of each antenna caused by the transmission of a synchronous signal, and reduces the overhead of various pieces of control information in a multi-antenna system.

    • Disclosed is a method for transmitting a cell ID of a specific type as physical layer ID information in addition to existing cell ID information. To this end, a method for increasing the number of cell IDs used in transmission of existing cell ID information in a synchronization channel can be employed, and a part of existing cell IDs can be set to be used for the transmission of additional specific type cell ID information. More specifically, in a case of increasing the number of cell IDs, a method for increasing the number of cell ID groups associated with a sub-synchronization channel without ambiguity problems and collision problems, a method for adding the number of cell IDs associated with a main synchronization channel in such a manner so as to satisfy characteristics of complex symmetry, a method for transmitting information using a transmission timing relationship of a main synchronization code and a sub synchronization code, and a method for transforming a scrambling scheme can be used. Further, in a case of reserving a part of existing cell IDs, characteristics of complex symmetry are considered in relation to a main synchronization channel, and ambiguity and collision problems are considered in relation to a sub-synchronization channel.
