摘要： The present invention relates to method and computer program products for providing additional data in relation to a map and map metadata as well as to map providing devices and map providing servers. According to the present invention an electronic map (M) together with metadata (MD) relating to at least one position on the map is provided for a user. At least a pointer to additional data related to this metadata is then provided based on the reception of a selection of additional information according to a user made selection profile. In this way additional data (AD) can be presented together with the metadata on the map. In this way the information density of the map is improved.
