摘要： Various embodiments relate to an air intake duct. The duct includes louvers forming an air inlet to a housing. Each louver includes an inlet section and an angled section, the angled section inclined with respect to the inlet section. The duct includes the housing positioned downstream of the louvers in an air flow direction. The housing includes a drain configured to permit separated water from an intake air passing through the louvers and into the housing to be drained from the housing. The duct includes an inner inlet duct that provides the intake air to a component. The inner inlet duct extends into the housing and positioned downstream of the louvers in the air flow direction. The inlet duct extends above the drain by a distance thereby forming a well in the housing between a top of the inner inlet duct and the drain.

摘要： Described herein is a continuous process for modifying the properties of polyester and polyester based fibers, such as a poly(butylene terephthalate) (PBT) fiber, comprising subjecting the PBT fiber to alkaline hydrolysis, and optionally further comprising functionalizing the PBT fiber by solution grafting such as fluorination. The alkaline hydrolysis and optionally subsequent functionalization such as fluorination process can be continuous, following the melt blowing/spinning or spun-bonding process. Also described is a nonwoven PBT fiber mat obtained by the surface modification process. Further described is a filtration device comprising the nonwoven PBT fiber mat.

摘要： A system for providing air to an internal combustion engine comprises a crankcase ventilation unit that receives unrefined blowby gas from a crankcase, separates oil from the unrefined blowby gas, and discharges refined blowby gas. A conduit delivers the refined blowby gas to an air cleaner housing. The air cleaner housing comprises a first chamber that receives intake air through a first port, a second chamber that receives intake air from the first chamber and refined blowby gas from the conduit through a second port, and a third chamber that receives a mixture of intake air and refined blowby gas from the second chamber and discharges the mixture through a third port. A primary filter element filters the intake air as it passes from the first chamber to the second chamber. A secondary filter element filters the mixture as it passes from the second chamber to the third chamber.

摘要： A filter element that is provided with automatic air bleeding features to efficiently bleed air from a fuel filter module containing the filter element. The filter element has an upper end cap with one or two air vents. One of the vents provides a bypass for air through wet filter media through which air from the fuel supply may not be able to pass through easily. The inner air vent is located on the inside of a circle formed by attachment clips that attach the respective filter element to a removable cover. The inner air vent allows for air inside the filter module to be easily purged out via a drain hole on the fuel filter module, while providing resistance to fuel. The drain hole is provided on the filter module which is internally connected to the fuel outlet and therefore to the fuel tank.
