    • A method and apparatus for dispensing razor wire provides a wheeled frame having one or more arms that support a spool or multiple coils of razor wire to be dispensed and installed. The frame includes one or more spools or winches, each spool or winch being wound with a length of barbed wire. During use, the barbed wire is unwound from the powered spool or winch. The razor wire coils are dispensed from an arm (or arms), the razor wire being coiled upon the arms in a generally circular shape. The barbed wire is dispensed through the center of the coils of razor wire. A specially configured guide tube receives barbed wire as it is dispensed from the spool. An optional remote control apparatus enables each spool and cylinder to be activated or deactivated if a powered (optional) system is desired. The remote control can thus be used to change the angular position of the arms relative to an underlying support surface.

    • An ultrasound catheter (1() and system (10) includes a catheter sheath (24) having a proximal end (24-1), a distal end (24-2), and a lumen (26) extending between the proximal end (24-1) and the distal end (24-2) in a longitudinal direction. A core wire (20) is movably disposed within the lumen (26) of the catheter sheath (24). The core wire (20) has a proximal portion (20-3) and a distal head portion (30). The proximal portion (20-3) of the core wire (20) is coupled to an ultrasound vibration source (14) configured to transfer the vibration motion to the core wire (20). The core wire (20) is configured to move relative to the catheter sheath (24) to selectively extend and retract the distal head portion (30) of the core wire (20) relative to the distal end (24-2) of the catheter sheath (24) in the longitudinal direction. When the core wire (20) is positioned in an extended position, the head portion (30) of the core wire is free to vibrate in a transverse direction with respect to the longitudinal direction.
