    • A storage system (1) for storing products for automatic retrieval comprises a transparent storage interface (2) adapted to enable viewing of the products (4) in the storage system, and a dispensing device (6) for dispensing products from the storage system. A positioning device (9a, 9b) is adapted to determine the position of an interaction from a person, such that the person can select a product from the storage system (1) by interacting with an area of the transparent storage interface for selecting a displayed product to be dispensed. A single automated retrieving member (10) is adapted to retrieve at least two different products at different positions. The positioning device and the retrieving member are connected to a control unit (15) adapted to control the retrieving member in response to input from the positioning device, so that the retrieving member can retrieve one of the at least two different products from the storage system. The storage system allows the customer to view the actual products that can be purchased from the storage system at the same time as it provides protection against theft.
