    • The invention relates to a system (1) for situation awareness in a combat vehicle (2), comprising a plurality of image-capturing sensors (3A-3E) configured to record image sequences showing different partial views (V A -V E ) of the surroundings of the combat vehicle, and a plurality of client devices (C1 -C3) wherein each is configured to show a view (V P ) of the surroundings of the combat vehicle, desired by a user of the client device, on a display (D1 -D3). The image-capturing sensors are configured to be connected to a network (4) and to send said image sequences over said network by means of a technique in which each image sequence sent by an image-capturing sensor can be received by a plurality of receivers, such as multicast. The client devices are also configured to be connected to said network and to receive, via said network, at least one image sequence recorded by at least one image-capturing sensor (3A-3E). Further, each client device is configured to generate, on its own, said desired view from the at least one image sequence by processing images from the at least one image sequence, and to provide for display of the desired view on said display.

    • A terminal device shares a screen with other terminal devices via an information processing device. The terminal device acquires data necessary for screen display from an acquisition destination, and stores the acquired data in a storage unit, before receiving a request to share a screen from a user; sends the user's request to the information processing device, and acquires information necessary for sharing a screen from the information processing device; determines whether data necessary for screen display based on the request has been acquired, based on identification information of data necessary for screen display included in the information necessary for sharing the screen and identification information of data necessary for screen display stored in the storage unit; and starts to share the screen with the other terminal devices by using the data stored in the storage unit, when the data is determined to have been acquired.

    • Embodiments for thermal and/or power aware graphics processing are provided. In an embodiment, a thermally and/or power adaptive graphics processing environment is presented. The graphics processing environment includes various thermally and/or power adaptive elements, each of which may be thermally and/or power aware (adaptive) in the sense that it may adapt at least one aspect of its operation and/or outputs based on thermal and/or power information to effectuate a change in graphics processing in any element (including itself) of the environment. This may include changing or causing a change in at least one of a graphics element, feature, setting, or characteristic based on thermal and/or power information. In an embodiment, thermal and/or power based adaptation may include software and/or hardware adaptation of graphics processing to affect thermal and/or power performance.
