    • The present invention relates to a freezer for temporary freezing of separate cooling elements (20) in the form of flexible plastic sheetings (21, 23). Said plastic sheetings enclose several separate, closed container spaces enclosing cooling medium, such as water, intended to be freezed in order to emit cold for cooling purposes in a utilization condition outside the freezer. The freezer is provided with a freezing-compartment (3) for storage and freezing of the cooling elements, wherein said freezing-compartment (3) is provided with, on the one hand, one or more suspension devices (19) for suspension of the cooling elements (20) which are spread out in the freezing-compartment and, on the other hand, a device (28) for outflow of refrigerant against the outside of the cooling elements in the freezing-compartment for freezing of said cooling elements. The suspension devices for each cooling element are arranged above the device for outflow of refrigerant.

    • The invention relates to a cooling element, its manufacture and its use in a box- shaped article. The cooling element comprising a cooling material embodied as a gel, which material is enclosed in a packaging material, said packaging material comprising a laminate of at least one layer of paper and at least one layer of polyethylene. According to the invention the cooling element is characterized in that the layer of paper includes a layer of kraft paper. The invented cooling elements show good cooling properties and can be reused, disposed of and/or recycled. Special packaging material laminates as well as cooling materials are claimed as well.
