摘要： A versatile user-adjustable clamp (10) for clamping accessories to the panels of ready-to-assemble furniture articles, and other surfaces such as countertops, has a main body member (12), a jaw member (14), and a knob (16). The main body member (12) has a substantially spool-shaped section (18) with accessory interface means at opposing ends thereof, and a rectangular section (20) that projects tangentially from the spool-shaped section (18). The spool-shaped section (18) of the main body member (12) telescopingly receives the jaw member (14), and has a knob-receiving aperture (80). The knob (16) is rotatably secured within the knob aperture (80) and provides a means (60) for actuating the telescopic movement of the jaw member (14) relative to the main clamp body (12). The jaw member (14) includes a flat surface interface that is oriented parallel to the rectangular section (20) of the main clamp body (12), and has a separate accessory interface means (38) therein.

摘要： A clamping tool (1) serving for clamping a workpiece (2) on a support (3) by means of a bar system constructed of a number of mutually pivotal bars comprising an activation bar (10) for at operation making the bars pivot mutually between an initial position and a locking position, a clamping bar (9) having at least one clamp shoe (19; 20) for pressing against the workpiece (2) in the locking position of the bar system, and a base (6) for mounting the bar system on the support (3). The bar system furthermore comprises two toggle joints (13; 16) arranged to simultaneously or almost simultaneously assume their dead point positions when the bar system at activation is taken from the initial position to the locking position. In the dead point positions the two toggle joints (13; 16) form an angle with each other. Thereby the clamping tool (1) according to the invention is rendered capable of simultaneously acting on a workpiece (2) which is to be clamped on a support (3) with compressive forces in at least two directions so that the number of the clamping tools required for a given task can be reduced by one half compared to the number that is required when conventional clamping tools are used.

The support is preferably an angled guiding profile (4) having a slidable support plate (5). A very stable fixing of especially two tube-formed work pieces is obtained, for instance in case of welding two tubes, whereby a completely sealed welding seam is obtained.
