A method for handling content requests at an edge node device of a CDN includes receiving a request to access content of a website from a user equipment (UE) over a wireless network; obtaining, in response to receiving the request, an authentication certificate for the website from a key server by providing an authentication certificate of the edge node device to the key server; and establishing a secure connection with the UE based at least in part on the authentication certificate. A method for wireless communication at a UE includes generating a request to access content of a website; processing the request at a modem, the processing including associating mobile CDN content delivery acceleration information with the request; and transmitting the request and the associated mobile CDN content delivery acceleration information to a network access device.

According to certain aspects a method for retransmitting a RACH MSG3 message is provided. The method generally includes participating in a random access channel (RACH) procedure with a user equipment (UE), dynamically changing an uplink/downlink subframe configuration from a first uplink/downlink subframe configuration to a second uplink/downlink subframe configuration, during the RACH procedure, detecting a failure to successfully decode a MSG3 message from the UE, and taking action to prevent the UE from re-transmitting the MSG3 message in a subframe that is designated as a downlink subframe after dynamically changing the subframe configuration.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices are described for discontinuous transmission and/or discontinuous reception in time division duplex (TDD) systems that may have data transmission formats dynamically reconfigured. An initial uplink-downlink (UL-DL) configuration for TDD communication between an eNB and user equipment (UE) may be established. This initial UL-DL configuration may be reconfigured to a different UL-DL configuration for one or more UEs in communication with the eNB. When a UE switches to discontinuous reception (DRX) mode, it may monitor control information from the eNB during DRX on periods, a frequency of the DRX on periods based on a reference UL-DL configuration irrespective of any reconfiguration of UL-DL configuration for a particular UE. In some aspects, a UE that is operating in a UL-DL reconfiguration mode may, upon entering DRX mode, autonomously discontinue operating in the UL-DL reconfiguration mode.
