    • The present invention relates to an LED lighting device having a block assembly structure, which not only can be designed such that diverse light-distribution characteristics can be obtained but is also easy to produce.     • The present invention relates to an LED assembly, an attachable/detachable LED assembly block using the same and an LED lighting apparatus having an attachable/detachable block assembly structure, wherein the LED assembly adopts a ball joint support structure to maximize a uniformity ratio of illuminance, prevent glare and achieve simple and perfect attachable/detachable assembly structure, thereby allowing for ease of assembly and maintenance and significantly reducing manufacturing costs. The LED lighting apparatus of the present invention comprises: a plate type housing body; a plurality of LED assembly blocks assembled one at a time along the outer periphery of the housing body, wherein each of the LED assembly blocks has a block body with an inner surface on which a plurality of LED assemblies are mounted at a discrete orientation angle such that each of the LED assemblies serves as a discrete light source; and a plurality of protection covers for covering the respective LED assemblies mounted on the respective LED assembly blocks. Each of the LED assemblies has an LED package having LED chips embedded therein, and the LED package is movably supported between a movable support unit and a fixed support unit by the ball joint support structure, such that the orientation angle of light emitted from LED chips can be freely set by adjusting the angle of the movable support unit.

    • The present invention relates to a bulb-shaped LED lighting apparatus which can ensure an effective heat dissipating structure, keep the whole size compact, and expand the beam angles, to thereby widen the use of the lighting apparatus. The LED lighting apparatus of the present invention comprises: an LED package having a metal substrate on which a plurality of LEDs are mounted; a screw cap; a heat dissipating apparatus; and a globe. The heat dissipating apparatus includes a main body and a plurality of heat dissipating fins. The main body includes a cylindrical part having a center with a cylindrical space with an open top, an annular flange vertically projecting from the bottom of the cylindrical part, and a protrusion having a diameter gradually decreasing from the annular flange toward the bottom of the lighting apparatus mounted with the LED package to expand the angle of the beam emitted from the LED package. The heat dissipating fins have inner vertical parts and bottom parts connected to the cylindrical part and the flange of the main body, respectively, and radially protrude in the upward and downward directions to dissipate heat conducted through the main body from the LED package.

The globe encases the LED package. The screw cap is coupled onto the top of the heat dissipation unit, and fitted to a socket.
