摘要： Logical channel prioritization and mapping to different numerologies is disclosed for 5G networks having multiple network slices operable for communication via logical channels associated with different numerologies. For user equipments (UEs) configured to handle multiple numerologies, different rules for mapping logical channels associated with different numerologies may be defined for data and non-data channels. Thus, when new data arrives at a UE for communication via a logical channel associated with a different numerology, the UE checks whether the mapping rules would allow multiplexing of the new numerology data onto an existing data channel. If no data channel has already been allocated or if an allocated data channel may not include data from the new numerology, then a mapping is followed for specifically requesting resources for communication of the new numerology data. The new mapping may trigger scheduling request or random access procedures specifically associated with the new numerology.

摘要： A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided in which user equipment initiates a location management procedure after receiving a mobility command and regardless of whether idle mode signaling reduction (ISR) is active when the mobility command is received. The user equipment moves from a first network to a second network in response to the mobility command and sends an update request. The user equipment may autonomously deactivate ISR. The user equipment may generate data for transmitting to a packet data network through the second network if data was not available when the mobility command was received.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for partitioning resources for enhanced inter-cell interference coordination (eICIC) are provided. Certain aspects involve broadcasting a message indicating time-domain resource partitioning information (RPI), where a user equipment (UE) may be operating in idle mode. With the RPI, the UE may be able to identify protected resources with reduced/eliminated interference from neighboring cells. The RPI in this broadcasted message may be encoded as a bitmap as an alternative or in addition to enumeration of the U/N/X subframes. Other aspects entail transmitting a dedicated or unicast message indicating the time-domain RPI, where a UE may be operating in connected mode. With the RPI, the UE may be able to determine channel state information (CSI), make radio resource management (RRM) measurements, or perform radio link monitoring (RLM), based on one or more signals from a serving base station during the protected time-domain resources.
