    • An audio control system is presented herein that allows an administrator to more easily configure, monitor, and control large-scale audio systems despite the complexity of such systems. A system designer or other administrator starts by defining the components and configuration of the system using a design user interface (Ul) that displays audio components of the system as on-screen icons or other virtual objects that the designer can connect, configure, and test to create panels. Later, a user of the system can access a control terminal that displays the panels defined by the designer. The user selects a panel and the control terminal requests Ul information describing the panel from a backend server. Thus, the audio control system provides a software-based way of configuring and controlling multiple audio components of a potentially complex large-scale audio system.

    • A structural member is provided in an embodiment for a lift assembly. The structural member comprises an elongated member having a pair of spaced apart sidewalls with a pair of aligned apertures therein. A joint assembly comprises a support member is positioned between the sidewalls and aligned with the apertures. The support member has an outer dimension greater than the diameter of the apertures so the support member will not pass through the apertures. An interior sleeve is disposed adjacent to the support member and extends through the apertures. The interior sleeve has end portions projecting beyond the sidewalls. The end portions are cold worked, radially flared portions adjacent to the sidewalls. The radially flared portions have an outer diameter greater than the diameter of the apertures. A portion of the sidewalls around the apertures are fixedly captured between the radially flared portion of the interior sleeve and the support member.

    • A flow measuring apparatus of an embodiment is provided than comprises a cylinder and a piston movable in the cylinder between first and second positions. The piston divides the cylinder's interior area into first and second portions. A biasing member urges the piston toward the first position. A first fluid passageway allows fluid to bypass the piston, and a second fluid passageway is in fluid communication with the first fluid passageway and with the first portion of the cylinder. The second fluid passageway provides fluid to the first portion of the cylinder to move the piston toward the second position. A flow diverter is movable between a first flow position that allows fluid to pass through the first fluid passageway to the outlet and a second flow position that causes fluid to flow into the second flow passageway and into the first portion of the chamber. A retention mechanism is moveable to move the flow diverter to the closed position and is moveable to allow the flow diverter to move to the open position when the piston reaches the second position.

    • In one embodiment, a constant-flow valve assembly is provided that comprises a first fluid passageway carrying fluid at a first fluid pressure, a piston chamber, and a second fluid passageway connected to the chamber and carrying fluid at the second fluid pressure. A third fluid passageway is configured to carry fluid at a third fluid pressure. An adjustable valve member is provided between the chamber and the third passageway to provide constant fluid flow to the third passageway. An adjustable restrictor assembly is positioned between the first and second fluid passageways. An inlet portion of the restrictor assembly receives fluid at the first fluid pressure and directs the fluid to a restrictor. An outlet portion receives fluid from the restrictor and directs the fluid to the second fluid passageway at the second fluid pressure. The restrictor is movable to adjust the position of entry and exit portions relative to the inlet and outlet portions to adjust a fluid flow rate through fluid pathway to the second fluid passageway, thereby adjusting the flow rate through the valve assembly.
